Consecration

I am consecrated to Jesus through the Immaculate Heart of Mary. I know that many people have a difficult time understanding the Catholic perspective on Mary and many may not understand why we do this. One thing is clear though: The Father of all creation, the Author of Life entrusted His Beloved Son into the arms of this woman; she cradled Him in her womb, she cradled Him as a baby, and she cradled Him in her arms after He was taken down from the cross. If the Great I Am could place such trust in Mary....then why shouldn't I?

Mary is a stumbling block to many religions. Catholics do not worship Mary, we honor her. As the mother of the Savior of the world, this honor is rightfully hers. The quickest way to learn about Mary is to ask the Holy Spirit for help. He is Truth Itself. He will show you the meaning of the words that Jesus spoke from the cross, "Behold, your mother".
