Our Lady's Medjugorje Message

In God's Company 2: Our Lady's Medjugorje Message, given on September ...:

Our Lady's Message, given on September 2, 2011 through Mirjana Soldo:

"Dear children; with all my heart and soul full of faith and love in the Heavenly Father, I gave my Son to you and am giving Him to you anew. My Son has brought you, the people of the entire world, to know the only true God and His love. He has led you on the way of truth and made you brothers. Therefore, my children, do not wander, do not close your heart before that truth, hope and love.

Everything around you is passing and everything is falling apart, only the glory of God remains. Therefore, renounce everything that distances you from the Lord. Adore Him alone, because He is the only true God. I am with you and I will remain with you. I am especially praying for the shepherds that they may be worthy representatives of my Son and may lead you with love on the way of truth. Thank you."

A REFLECTION:

In recent years, Mirjana has stayed almost completely away from discussing her secrets, as do the other visionaries. In fact, she has stated that a supernatural "block" about them has allowed her to go about life without thinking or even readily recalling most of them. She brushes aside questions about them.

But back in 1985 – when the alleged revelations were fresh – she said about the first secret, “To the people of this world who pray it will be a gift.” Other parts of the interview were even more revealing:

Father Ljubicic: How would you assess the current situation around the world? How would you personally view all these things?

Mirjana: There never was an age such as this one; never before was God honored and respected less than now, never before have so few prayed to Him; everything seems to be more important than God. This is the reason why she cries so much. The number of unbelievers is becoming greater and greater. As they endeavor for a better life, to such people, God Himself is superfluous and dispensable. This is why I feel deeply sorry for them and for the world. They have no idea what awaits them. If they could only take a tiny peek at these secrets, they would convert in time. Certainly, God always forgives all those who genuinely convert.

  1. Mary,
Thanks for sharing this message and reflection. It just convinces me more and more that those who do pray need to be like Abraham and stand praying, interceding and making reparation in the breach.

  2. The Vatican has set up a commission to study Medjugorje.

As for now, the edict from Rome is still in effect which bans OFFICIAL pilgrimages to Medjugorje from being organized on either the Parocchial or Dicesan Level.

I don't bring this to your attention to throw cold water on your hope, though I will, but only to tell you that Rome has not yet made a decision on the validity of the visions.

In fact in 2008, the former Exorcist of Rome, declared the visions as false, and banned pilgrimages to Medjugorje. People disobeyed and continued going.

I hope that the new commission will determine once and for all the validity of the visions.

If true, Praise be To God.
And Ave Maria, who persevered until Rome listened.

If false, Have Mercy on the "Visionaries" for their deception. And the former Vatican Exorcist is correct: this is all the work of the Deceiver.

I, personally, don't know what to think.

We have seen what happens when the Stars of the Catholic Church fall. How many felt betrayed when Corapi fell, when Eutenauer fell. How are people going to feel, if they have been lied to all these years by this group of people?

  3. Hi Puff,
I'm glad you brought this up. I'm on my way out the door but I'll respond to this later. God bless!

  4. Puff,
I am aware of the difficulties Medjugorje presents both to the commission who must discern these apparitions and to the laity who are divided when it comes to this issue. I have read numerous arguments both for and against Medjugorje and continue to do so. As far as I know the laity are not forbidden to visit this place and in fact were encouraged to do so by the late John Paul II but priests (etc..) are no longer allowed to lead pilgrimages there. I don't know what the Vatican will conclude concerning the seers and apparitions there. I am guessing that they are awaiting the release of the "secrets" given to the visionaries. This should quickly prove whether the apparitions are true or false. The Vatican seems to still be taking this "wait and see" approach in regard to Mejugorje. Until a formal declaration is made by the Church concerning Medjugorje I will continue to write about it. Why? Because every person that I know personally that has visited this place is an exemplary Catholic and the fruit of their visits there has been incredible. Plus, the simplicity and beauty of the messages remind me of various apparitions that the Church has approved. Why would satan want to convince millions to go to daily Mass, receive the Eucharist, monthly Confession, Adoration, to pray and read the Bible? Seems to me that if satan is behind these apparitions then he is going about it in the wrong way. Having said all that, if the Vatican denounces Medjugorje I will of course comply with their decision.

I know you are not trying to throw cold water on my hope, Puff, and I read this comment in the spirit it was sent - as an honest concern that a fellow Catholic is being misled. I read the links you sent to me and thank you for sending them.

If these apparitions are proven false I agree that many people will feel hurt and angry but I hope this is not the case. To be honest, I cannot see God allowing this to go on for so long if they were false but I can see Him allowing it if they are true. I guess this is all beside the point though - obviously I do not know for sure what is going on in Medjugorje and have to wait like everyone else.
